Sony is encouraging PlayStation owners to trade in their PS5 consoles for up to $400 in cash if they no longer use them. Notifications have started appearing in the PlayStation app, directing users to a trade-in service where they can exchange their console for money paid directly into their bank account.

There's a catch, though. The maximum $400 offer is based on a standard PS5 in pristine condition, supplied with at least 2 controllers. The actual amount depends on the console model, storage, condition and accessories, with the hardware inspected before a final valuation is confirmed.

The trade-in is handled through Back Market, a refurbished electronics marketplace, rather than Sony buying the consoles itself. Owners can request a quote online, ship their console using the service's shipping arrangements and receive payment by bank transfer once the device has been checked.

The offer is also arriving just ahead of GTA 6, giving Sony another potential way to get unused consoles back into circulation before one of gaming's biggest releases. The headline $400 figure is currently tied to the US promotion, although reports have also mentioned UK notifications offering up to £300. So if your PS5 has been collecting dust, it might be worth checking your PlayStation app.

Netflix is bringing AI into the streaming experience with a new content discovery feature called AI Discover. The feature is designed to make finding something to watch easier, using artificial intelligence to suggest movies and shows based on individual viewing habits and preferences.

Rather than endlessly scrolling through the homepage, users will be able to explore recommendations through preset themes such as "Scare Me" and "Workplace Comedy Favorites". The idea is to give viewers a more direct way to find content that matches whatever mood they're in.

AI Discover will also take users' viewing history into account, helping tailor suggestions to their personal interests. It's another step toward making streaming recommendations feel less like browsing through an endless catalog and more like having someone understand exactly what you're in the mood to watch.

With streaming platforms competing for attention, improving content discovery has become a major focus. Netflix clearly wants to make the question of "what should we watch?" a little less painful, although whether AI can finally solve that age-old problem remains to be seen.

Sabrina Carpenter's "Bed Chem" has officially surpassed 900 MILLION streams on Spotify, adding another huge milestone to her already impressive streaming catalog. The fan-favorite track continues to rack up plays, becoming her 8th song to reach the achievement.

Originally featured on her 2024 album "Short n' Sweet", "Bed Chem" quickly became one of the standout tracks from the project. Its playful lyrics, catchy production and instantly recognizable chorus helped turn it into another major fan favorite.

The milestone adds to Sabrina's growing list of billion-stream contenders, with 8 songs now having crossed the 900 million mark. Her streaming success has been particularly impressive over the past few years, as "Short n' Sweet" helped cement her position as one of pop's biggest names.

And with "Bed Chem" still pulling in streams, the next milestone is already looking very much within reach. 1 BILLION is officially on the horizon, and Sabrina's Spotify numbers just keep getting more ridiculous.

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that GTA 6 will require up to 212GB of storage space for its digital pre-load. With the game's launch now just weeks away, players might want to start clearing out their consoles because this is going to take up a SERIOUS amount of space.

Digital pre-loading begins on November 10, with PlayStation 5 players able to start downloading at midnight local time. Xbox Series X|S players will get access at 12 AM GMT globally. This means players can have the massive download ready before launch day rather than waiting around for it to install.

GTA 6 officially launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has also confirmed that physical code-in-box editions should become available through retailers from November 12, giving players another option ahead of release.

Rockstar is also preparing some extra goodies for launch, including a free printable GTA 6 cover art poster and map of Leonida, which will be available to download from the official website on November 19. After years of waiting, the countdown is getting REAL, but first, everyone might need to make some room on their consoles.

Spotify is reportedly preparing to let users remix existing songs using AI, giving listeners the ability to create their own versions of tracks directly through the streaming platform. According to the Financial Times, the feature could come with an additional monthly charge of around $4–$5 on top of an existing subscription.

The tool would allow users to experiment with songs they already love, potentially changing genres, sounds and arrangements to create entirely different versions. Rather than simply generating music from scratch, the idea is to let fans put their own spin on music from established artists.

Importantly, original artists and rights holders would reportedly receive payment for the AI-generated remixes. Spotify is also exploring ways for these remixes to appear on the platform and contribute to streaming activity, creating a system where artists can benefit financially when listeners experiment with their music.

Spotify is reportedly working with major music industry partners to make the feature possible, with licensing agreements and artist participation forming a key part of the rollout. The additional price and launch details have not been finalized, but the move could introduce a completely new way for people to interact with music. Imagine turning your favorite song into a completely different genre without ever leaving Spotify.

AI is becoming an increasingly common part of game development, and the latest Steam numbers are making that VERY clear. According to an independent analysis of around 63,600 Steam releases, 49.9% of games launched in October 2026 disclosed using AI-generated content. Back in January 2024, that figure was just 1.7%.

The growth has been pretty wild. Across all of 2024, 13.2% of new releases disclosed AI use, rising to 24% in 2025 before reaching 40.1% across 2026 so far. October's 49.9% figure marks a particularly significant jump, bringing AI disclosures close to half of all new releases.

So what exactly are developers using it for? Artwork is leading the way, appearing in 63% of AI disclosures, followed by text and translations at 30%, store pages and marketing materials at 26%, and music at 21%. Some games are using AI for voices and even content generated during gameplay, although those categories are much less common.

There is an important distinction here, though. These numbers track what developers have disclosed, not every game that actually uses AI, and a disclosure doesn't mean an entire game was generated by AI. Still, going from 1.7% to 49.9% in less than 3 years is a pretty insane shift. AI is no longer some experimental side quest in gaming. It's becoming part of the industry itself.

McDonald's is giving customers another reason to pull up to the drive-thru, introducing a new $8 Quarter Pounder meal deal. The offer bundles together 3 classic menu items for one set price, bringing a familiar fast-food favorite back into the value conversation.

The deal includes a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, medium fries and a medium drink. It's a full meal for $8, making it a pretty straightforward option for anyone craving the iconic burger without paying for each item separately.

The Quarter Pounder with Cheese remains one of McDonald's most recognizable menu items, featuring its signature beef patty, melted cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard. Pairing it with fries and a drink makes this a classic McDonald's combination rather than some experimental menu creation.

With fast-food prices continuing to get plenty of attention, value meals are becoming a major part of the competition between chains. McDonald's latest $8 offer is another attempt to bring customers back with a familiar favorite at a more accessible price.

Kraft Mac & Cheese is taking its flavor experiments somewhere nobody quite expected, launching a limited-time Cinnamon Roll flavor. Yes, we're talking about the iconic cheesy pasta, but this time with a sweet twist inspired by everyone's favorite breakfast pastry.

The unusual creation combines Kraft's signature pasta with cinnamon and a creamy sauce inspired by cinnamon rolls. It's an unexpected combination that blurs the line between a savory comfort food classic and a sweet breakfast treat.

Kraft has never been afraid to experiment with its mac and cheese lineup, but this might be one of its most unexpected flavors yet. The brand is clearly leaning into the internet's love of bizarre food combinations, and this one is already giving people plenty to debate.

Whether you're genuinely curious or absolutely horrified by the idea, it's difficult to ignore a cinnamon roll mac and cheese crossover. The real question is whether anyone is brave enough to make this their next comfort food obsession.
